Eligibility Criteria

Open to licensed nurses currently practicing in any healthcare setting in Texas Must demonstrate a commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care and going above and beyond for patients.

Nomination Process

1.Who Can Nominate?

Anyone can nominate—colleagues, supervisors, patients, or even self-nominate.

2. Submission Period:

Nominations open: December 23, 2024

Nominations close: February 18,2025

3. How to Nominate:

All eligible nurses currently or previously affiliated with Amera will receive an email invitation to participate in the nominations for the Amera Excellence Awards.

Initial Screening:Amera’s review committee will evaluate all submissions to ensure they are complete and align with Amera’s core values of care, professionalism, and compassion.

Shortlisting:A panel of healthcare leaders will assess nominations based on the nominee's impact, innovation, and exceptional quality of care or leadership demonstrated. Winners will be chosen based on their overall contributions, measurable impact, and dedication to patient care.

Awards and Recognition

Recognition across Amera’s newsletter, press release, website, and social media platforms, including a dedicated feature article highlighting the winner’s exceptional achievements and contributions.
